February 21, 2015

Welcome to The Piglet! Catch up on the full list of books and judges, score your own copies in the shop, and print out a bracket to follow along. Round 1 of The Piglet is brought to you by our friends at Squarespace

The 2015 Piglet Tournament of Cookbooks kicked off this Wednesday with Eater's Ryan Sutton and his thorough testing (he stopped just short of subjecting them to the "blowtorch test"). Adam Roberts got visual, with a graphic (-novel style) recounting of his judging process. Yesterday, Alexandra Guarnaschelli reviewed two books that explore the concepts of cultural and taste shifts. Read each day's judgment below, and tune in next week to see what the next wave of judges and competitors will bring.

I was just reading the list of judges and saw that my favorite author, Kate Christensen is one of them. Now I'm even more obsessed with this contest than before, so excited!
