A question about a recipe: Overnight Boston Butt Recipe

I have a question about step 3 on the recipe "Overnight Boston Butt Recipe" from Nestingproject. It says:

"Place Roast in a Roasting pan and into an oven heated to 225 degrees for about 8 hours."

I would leave it uncovered, but check on it after a few hours, and if it's getting to dark or looking dry, then I'd cover with foil.
