Urgent! A question about a recipe: Pineapple Coconut Layer Cake

I have a question about the recipe "Pineapple Coconut Layer Cake" from karollu. I have never baked a cake at 400 is this correct? Also I only have 9" pans do I need to adjust the batter?

As for the temperature, yes. As for the cake pans, you'll be okay. Your cake will just be a little wider, thus, shorter.
