I'm making a cheesecake that calls for pureed pumpkin. I don't recall seeing that in the store. Do you puree canned pumpkin yourself or is it just canned pumpkin?

I've always just used it right from the can when a recipe calls for pureed pumpkin.

Canned pumpkin is pureed, so just use it straight from the can. ;o)

If you are interested in making your own pureed pumpkin, check this out. It's sweeter and the texture is silkier. http://wp.me/P138tL-H
