I've recently started using sunflower oil. It is a neutral oil, more like canola. The nutritional value is supposed to be very good. I expect to continue using it because I don't believe it has the questions that canola raises about its purity and safety -- as far as I know, sunflower seed hasn't been breached by GM attention. It won't take the place of olive oil, though -- in terms of flavor and cultural status.
