Urgent! Which frosting recipe is best for a cake on a hot humid day?

What on earth can i frost my little girls cake with that isnt going to melt? I really really dont want to use shortening. I read something about adding corn starch?

Can it be chocolate? Try Amanda's icing from the Dump-It cake. http://www.food52.com/recipes...

It's a ganache made with sour cream. It's easy, delicious and holds up really well.
