I just made some simple syrup for a recipe I wool make today. I have a good bit left over but don't know the best way to store it.

Should it be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator. And how long can it be kept?

Simple syrup will keep in the fridge for a very long time. Toss it if it starts to look cloudy/crystally.

It can also be kept on a shelf in the pantry for a long time, but is more likely to crystalize (in my experience).

Store in fridge for a really long time if required.
