Urgent! Can I use old fashioned oats for raw oat flakes?

I am making a raw granola bar that calls for raw oat flakes. Can I substitute old-fashioned oats? Do I need to put them through the food processor at all?

The old-fashioned oats should be fine--and no need to put them through the food processor.
