Creamed onions...Is there an easy way to peel these little onions for 20 people??
soak them in cold water first for about 30 minutes. I had to peel a kilo of these about 3 weeks ago - soaking definitely helped.
Blanch in boiling water for 1 to 2 minutes then put in ice cld water. Then slice off the dark pointy root ends. Then squeeze at other end and they will pop out the skins, VERY EASY THIS WAY!
