I have a question about the recipe "Quinoa and Mango Salad with Lemony-Ginger Dressing" from jenniebgood. substitutions for mango?
QueenSashy is a trusted home cook.
I think that green papaya and firm apricots or peaches might work too.
Try any tropical fruit as a substitute. Like Queen Sashy mentions above, papaya is good. But apricots and peaches would be wonderful also...in my opinion anyway!
I would go for peaches. But you could also do a dried mango or dried apricots
I went for the peaches. Always good idea this time of year! Thanks for the suggestions.
Luciemom, will try peaches when our local peaches show up!
