Almond meal vs flour is a weird thing. There's no industry standard, so some almond meal is like flour and others, Bob's Red Meal for example, has the larger grind along with the smaller grind. It really depends on what you are making. I vaguely remember that you are making a cake. Is the almond meal in place of flour? If so, your product may work. If the recipe wants you to use the coarse meal, it won't work.
