I love the thought of "not-recipes". I very seldom do something new without adapting. But I don't have iPhone, I have Android. Why can't I get app too

I will be so happy when you get the android version. For some reason I cant seem to stay away from your site. The app will make it so much easier.

The app is not a mirror image of the site. It's a very casual setting for people to post pictures and (not) recipes of dishes. It's fun. Kind of addicting.

Hi Linda, thanks for being excited about the idea—we're pretty excited, too. I'm sharing what I posted in the blog announcement's comments section here, to clarify why we needed to start with one app first.

We hear you, Android users. Meet our entire mobile app engineering team, Mike! https://twitter.com/Food52... You can see why it wasn't possible for design both at once, so we focused first on the version that more visitors to our website are on. We’ll keep Mike working hard and keep you posted on Android updates.

I'm in the same boat. Reply to the email if you still can for answer. Even though I own Apple stock the true believers are a pain in the a**. Droid phones are better.

I have to ask. Is your new avatar J. Wellington Wimpy?

Susan W. March 24, 2016
Wait..I take that back. It's not Wimpy. Who the check is that?

It's Tin Tin of course. Giornelista and flaneur.

Tintin!!! That was driving me nuts. Too bad there isn't room for Snowy. Love the avatar!!
