How long can I keep homemade pesto in the fridge

I’m worried that the raw garlic in the pesto could have bacteria, how long can I keep homemade pesto in the fridge

About a week. if you want it to last longer, my family freezes it in ice cube molds (for easier use/faster defrosting) for up to 6 months - if they last that long!
