Right Nancy! Mrssoul, you can solve this with an oven thermometer. Once you know how far off your oven is, you will know how to adjust your recipes. If you still have your oven manual (or you can research online) you may be able to actually adjust your oven temperature so it is spot on.
Get yourself an early [Christmas] present. Buy an oven thermometer and use that to set the oven temp....it will soon pay for itself in ingredients saved or well cooked. Also check if there are hot or cool spots inside and rotate your dishes as needed.
