Every time I cook with cereal it tastes stale or hard like with muddy buddies, rice crispy treats, or cookies

Hi Simon1979! Tough to say why that might be (our best advice would be to follow the recipe as closely as possible, to see if you can identify the cause), but we suggest warming up whatever treat you've made—that will help with the texture, and who doesn't love a warm cookie anyway?
