Adjustment recommendations for half recipe

Can’t wait to try this as I I’m still looking for my “go-to” honey cake.
I’m going to start with a half recipe. What do you recommend for pan size/shape, and shorter baking time?
Should I adjust the oven temp of half recipe? Thanks
