Replacement for pomegranate arils (seeds)

I want to make Muhammara in winter (that is, out of season).
Have some pomegranate molasses coming in a delivery order.
But am having a tough time finding fresh pomegranate seeds in store or reasonably priced online
Do you have suggestions for other fruits (besides lemon or orange) to use for that sweet-sour tang?

Nancy, I live in Louisiana and have been seeing the arils in cups in the produce section fwiw

Yyou’re lucky to have those cup packages in stores.
The format hasn’t reached Canada’s stores (or ad least Ontario).
The only packaged format I’ve seen here is shrink-wrap or vacuum-pack, but not lately.

Hi Nancy,
I usually substitute pomegranate arils for cranberries in salads and garnishes (my grandkids prefer them.) Try to find dried cranberries sweetened with apple juice rather than sugar.
