If you, like me, tend to cook for far more people than are at any meal, consider investing in a vacuum sealer. We bought one after going on a friend's fishing boat and coming home with 6 very fresh, wild, king salmon. We always have something nice in the freezer for days when we are tired, or get home late, and we want something good to eat. It sure beats anything that you could get delivered.

Yes, of course. Double-wrap it with good plastic wrap, and be sure to label and date it in the event in it tends to migrate towards the back of your freezer. Which never happens at my house, you understand.
