Looking for hearty meals for after mouth surgery. Soups, smoothies, treats?

My father just had surgery on his gums and will not be able to eat solid foods for a few days. I'd appreciate any help with soups or smoothie recipies. Something filling and no crunchy, chewy bits or anything high in acidic like tomato. Spice is also questionable.

These two suggestions might be pushing it, but Merrill's soft scrambled eggs are smooth and custard-y and I think they're a treat

And the warm custard spoon bread is delicious

Rice pudding--either sweet or savory! Let the rice really break down and become soupy so it's easy for him to process but also has some texture so he doesn't feel like he's just consuming liquids.

This soup is one of my favorites. I hope your father recovers quickly!
