When we paired up with R. Murphy to create an exclusive set of knives for Provisions, we knew they'd be special. But even we were blown away when we learned that the impeccably crafted handles of the pecan version were made from wood reclaimed from an old Chrysler stamping plant, and the maple version uses wood reclaimed from St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Cleveland. And of course, they're as functional as you can get: high-carbon steel blades create the sharpest possible edge, a full tang means perfect balance, and contoured handles provide comfort and ease of use.

Both sets come in maple OR pecan; single chef's knife comes in maple OR pecan

8" Chef’s Knife: The most versatile knife in the kitchen -- designed for slicing, chopping, mincing and dicing with ease.

Filet Knife: With a long, slim and flexible blade this knife is designed to bone and fillet fish and poultry, though it works just as well for coring fruit and vegetables and slicing citrus.

Paring Knife: This is the knife you want for detail work: trimming, peeling, controlled cuts and slicing small fruits and vegetables.

These knives are made to order. Please allow 7-14 days for production.

  • Made in: USA

Sourced from R. Murphy Knives: Since the 1850s, generations of Murphy men have assured us that an overworked all-purpose chef’s knife just won’t cut it. Not when there are quality carbon steel knives out there for nearly every purpose. And we don’t even have to go abroad for these beauties: R. Murphy knives are made in Massachusetts.

Hand wash, rinse, and dry after use. Over time carbon steel blades develop a blue-gray patina which helps prevent further oxidation. An occasional application of mineral oil to the handle will restore lustre.

These knives are made to order. Please allow 7-14 days for production.
