Each salt plate is made from natural bricks of salt, so not every square is perfectly shaped.
The salt plate can be chilled (for desserts!), or heated on the stovetop, grill or inside your oven.
When cooking with your salt plate in the oven or on a grill, be sure to increase the temperature gradually.
To clean, rinse with water, scrub lightly with steel wool and rinse again. Dry with a clean cloth. Do not use soap (salt plates are naturally antimicrobial and do not need soap). Do not submerge in water and definitely do not put in the dishwasher!
Do not store on metal, copper, or bronze surfaces.
