Serves makes one liter
- 5-6 pears, peeled and cut in chunks
- 1 bottle decent vodka
- Fill a clean quart-sized wide-mouth jar with the pear chunks and cover with vodka. Refrigerate for up to a week, shaking up the jar when you think of it. When you finally run out of patience, strain the vodka through a coffee filter into the original bottle or another clean jar.
