It goes without saying that I love Brussels sprouts. Testing all sorts of variations is my specialty. I'm an avid fan of roasted garlic, as i think most everyone is (or anyone that I would consider a normal person), so putting the two together was long coming. Here I've combined sweet roasted garlic and honey, with my old friend, Brussels sprouts. —Brussels Sprouts for Breakfast

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts (trimmed and quartered)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6-10 cloves garlic (peeled and crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • salt and pepper
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toss all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Make sure to coat everything in olive oil. Dump the Brussels sprouts onto a foil lined baking sheet and put in the oven to bake.
  2. Let cook for about 20 minutes, moving the sprouts around a couple of times to make sure nothing is burning. Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 seconds and then shove them in your mouth as fast as possible. You can make these and eat by themselves, or you could add them to any veggie dish.

This is my new favorite brussel recipe. The temp and time was spot on. I used 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and pepper. It was easy and tasty!
