This is a very old recipe from Sesimbra village. Fishermen used to take with them these cookies when they were several days on the sea.
These are dry cookies and very caloric, so they could survive for a long time. —Helena Martins

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 18 ounces Yellow sugar
  • 18 ounces Flour
  • 4 Whole eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Cinnamon
  • 7 ounces Chocolate bar
  • 1 Lemon zest
Directions
  1. Cut into small pieces the chocolate bar. Mix all the ingrediente with hands or a spoon.
  2. Put over a vegetable paper and make about 1 cm higher square. If necessary use another vegetable paper on the top to make it easier.
  3. Cooke on the over at medium, for 30 minuts. Let cool and
