Author Notes: Traditionally, a Greyhound is made with vodka -- and you can do that if you want to -- but I like mine with gin. Pick your poison. - Kenzi Wilbur
- 2 ounces gin or vodka
- 5 ounces grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed is ideal), or slightly less to taste
- Salt (optional for variation below)
- In a highball filled with ice, add the gin, then the grapefruit juice. Stir to combine. (Alternately, you can pre-mix the gin and the juice, and pour over ice when ready to serve.)
- To make this a Salty Dog, salt the rim of the highball before you add the gin and grapefruit juice.
