The Best Easy Design Solutions That Make a Big Difference

Some of the most interesting things we learned about interior design this year came from seeing a good idea in action—a transparent shelf in an unexpected place, a curtain to hide the junk closet, a bike seemingly suspended by nothing more than disbelief.

And the best of those ideas weren't the fanciest—they were low-fi and adaptable to any space. Marked by a kernel of good sense and style, we spotted and stole these ideas right out of the homes of our coworkers and friends.
