If I can find loquat I will happily test kmartinelli's Samosas with Loquat-Onion chutney. I will report back whether or not I can find some. Congrats to all the EPs/EP candidates!

It seems loquat had a short season here this year...we are just into mango season though - I can test k's recipe, but it will be with mango instead.

Thank you Food 52 for selecting me as a candidate, I am so honored! And thank you Kitchen Butterfly for testing my recipe-- hope you enjoy these. I may be grilling some myself this weekend for Father's Day.

I would like to try the grilled sausages, since I am not sure I could find loquats. Congrats to all the eps and ep candidates. Such an interesting batch!

I'll take the WHB Special. I have a top sirloin bison roast in the freezer.

Can't wait. Have been looking for a simple, easy, yummy way to make the roast, and this is simply perfect for it. Just took it out of the freezer. Thaw today, and age till Sunday or Monday.

I've no clue where to get loquats (I'm not even sure where or what to look for)..

They may be hard to find in the States, but I bet you could use a tart apple with similar results. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loquat Since most everyone will be in the same boat, I'm guessing the Editor's won't mind the substitution.

I look forward to trying new recipes, just so that i can learn from them.. Samosas, the risk here is that its such a common snack & I'm so familiar with making them that it would be hard not to digress from the recipe with your own familiar techniques. that would not do justice to the potential EP tag

Market Style Porchetta, please! I've been meaning to make it for my brother since Pierino posted it. I don't know how the editor's picked the contenders this week - there were a ridiculous number of amazing entries!

When I was a kid one of my cousins would only eat peanut butter on toast and corn on the cob! Seems to be a universally loved food. I just need to wait until we have fresh corn around here to make it!

I feel your pain, TiggyBee. My tiling project put my kitchen out of commission for about a week and a half - soooo painful. Good luck with your little "friend."
