File this under news you can definitely use: A luxury resort company has issued the ultimate job listing, and we can practically hear the stampede rushing to get their applications through the door.

Vidanta has announced the "World's Best Job" global campaign, where one lucky candidate will get a chance to land a dream job. For an entire year, they'll be an ambassador and social influencer across the company's portfolio of destinations, including Nuevo Vallarta, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Acapulco, Puerto Peñasco, and Puerto Vallarta.

They will be paid a $120,000 salary for the year to travel, eat, and fully immerse themselves among ancient Mayan ruins and underwater cenotes, as they 'gram their way through each of Vidanta's picture-perfect resorts. #content.

"Get trained to be an ambassador for happiness," the campaign site promises. Here are a few responsibilities the extremely lucky winner will have to fulfill:

  • Usher baby turtles into the ocean
  • Check every resort pool to make sure the water temperature is "just right"
  • Learn new recipes from Michelin-starred chefs
  • Try out new luxury spa treatments
  • Taste the difference between blanco, resposado, and añejo tequilas (hey, it's important!)

I think it would be such a great job, for someone like me. I have travel throughout Mexico for many years. I love food, I think is such a great opportunity to showcase the different foods that my country can offer it. From a simple dish such rice and beans to a great mole dish (which I hope to try it again, now that I am heading to Puebla)Mexico has such a great variety of food throughout the country. I would love to have the opportunity to share with the world that Mexico is not just resort, tequila and spicy food. Mexico has lots to offer to the rest of the worl!

This is my dream job. An opportunity to get to learn and live in my country would be an extradinary experience for me. A chance to be proud and probably meet my family members who like to vacation there from time to time. To learn about the food more and improve my vocabulary.
