Cooking View Feature

Thanks to the creativity of 10x (our web developers), we have a couple of features here at food52 that we think are really innovative and fun to use. Today, we thought we'd highlight one in particular in case you haven't already stumbled across it yourselves: the "Cooking View" option under the "Print/View" button found on every one of our recipe pages. By clicking on "Cooking View," you can pull up a pared-down, large-type version of the recipe -- ideal for bringing your laptop into the kitchen with you while you cook. By using the space bar, you can scroll down to the next part of the recipe, and ESC brings you back to the top of the page. You can also use the ENTER key to toggle back and forth between ingredients and directions. Raw chicken all over your hands? Just use your elbow!

And here to pull up the standard view, so you can see them side-by-side.

Food52 (we cook 52 weeks a year, get it?) is a food and home brand, here to help you eat thoughtfully and live joyfully.
