Recipes Inspired by the Portland, OR Collection

October 23, 2013

We're all about collections over at Provisions -- so following that lead, we'll be making recipe collections to go alongside those that are in Provisions. Because recipes want to be together, too.

Today: Take your kitchen on a trip to Portland.

Portland is a DIY mecca. You name it, they've got it: artisanal hot sauce, small-batch dog biscuits, candy made with fresh berries instead of high-fructose corn syrup. Its residents are true artisans who care about the products they create -- whether they're edible or just meant to make your home more beautiful. And wherever we are in the country, we want in. So over at Provisions, we collected our favorite goods from the Pacific Northwest.

Armed with these products, we set out to collect recipes reminiscent of those Portland flavors we can't get enough of -- no plane ticket required.
