7 Oatmeal Cookie Recipes

December 11, 2013

Oatmeal cookies are perfect for two reasons: 1) they are delicious, and 2) they are made of oatmeal, which means they are really, really good for us. (Right?) There is no such thing as a bad cookie, but oatmeal cookies are special: a little more unique than the ubiquitous chocolate chip, but not fancy or intimidating to make (we love you, macarons, but we're looking at you).

Like a big, cozy bowl of hot porridge with your fixins of choice, oatmeal cookies can be tailored to any taste -- whether you like a classic, chewy oatmeal cookie with lots of brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins, or see them primarily as direct line to a chocolate fix.

No matter how you take your oatmeal, here are 7 oatmeal cookie recipes that wiill fit the bill.

One of the best oatmeal cookie recipes ever is on the back of the Quaker Oats container. You can add all sorts of inclusions.
