Recipes for our Breakfast Collection

We're all about collections over at Provisions -- so following that lead, we'll be making recipe collections to go alongside those that are in Provisions. Because recipes want to be together, too.??

Today: Good morning sunshine! We're talking breakfast, from waffles to whisks.

Have you heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Also, it's delicious. We like breakfast food so much that sometimes we even have it for dinner, and we won't judge if you do too. But don't fret if you're short on time or inspiration -- the trick is finding the right equipment. Don't shy away from biscuit and pancake mixes -- just make sure they are of the best quality. And this is the time to consider single-use appliances: waffle makers and egg cups are both on heavy rotation in our kitchen.

Get adventurous and try something new, like spicy baked eggs. Here are some more ideas to get you started, and if all else fails, mix yourself a really good Bloody Mary.

I know you need to make a buck, but selling mixes for pancakes and biscuits? Really?

We're usually fans of making everything from scratch, but these mixes are particularly awesome -- they're made with high-quality ingredients that you would use to cook a good homemade biscuit or pancake…just bundled up and pre-measured. They're not mixes where there are strange preservatives, but more like just baking a great recipe. The griddle cakes are gluten-free, too!
