Coconut lemon macaroons by beyondcelery. She brought these to a food52 meet-up and we could not get enough of them. Delicious! http://food52.com/recipes...

I usually bring lemon bars to such occasions. This recipe has an interesting twist: http://smittenkitchen.com...

How about a poundcake soaked with a lemon syrup?

If this is for a crowd, it probably isn't practical, but for a smaller group I'd consider adding a bowl of berries (raspberries or blueberries would be especially nice) and a bowl of whipped cream alongside HalPint's lemon pound cake and let people serve themselves for a delicious treat. Prettier if you can plate it yourself.
