Does anyone have ideas of ways to use pickling spices besides pickles??

You can use them for curing meat, like say brisket. It can become corned beef and if you smoke it you are on your way to pastrami.
A light sprinkle can also perk up homemade ham,turkey,egg,or chicken salads.
