I love the dressing in this recipe -- http://food52.com/recipes/17417-grilled-steak-and-mango-salad-with-avocado-buttermilk-ranch-dressing. I'd probably alter the herbs, likely with the mint suggested above.

The mint-melon dressing on my salad is very good, and you will be out more melon flavor: http://food52.com/recipes/17737-melon-prosciutto-and-mozzarella-appetizer-with-a-mint-melon-dressing

Try a simple honey, lime juice, and chopped fresh mint dressing. Maybe even throw some chopped toasted coconut flakes over it for texture.

I'm not sure I would pair those to fruits.

One of my favorite dressings would be perfect for this: VANILLA BEAN-BLACK PEPPER(makes 1 1/2 cups) 1 tbs fresh lemon juice, 1 tbs fresh orange juice, 1 tbs fresh lime juice, 3 tbs rice wine vinegar, 2 whole vanilla beans pulp scraped out, 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 1 tsp sugar, 1 cup olive oil, 1 tbs orange zest Put all the ingredients in a jar and shake vigorously

Are cantaloupe and grapefruit the only ingredients in the salad? I might whisk a little honey into lime juice.
