I used the Max Burton 6200 Deluxe (1800 Watts) for virtually everything when I was overseas with the wimpiest gas stove in the known universe. Loved it so much I insisted on an induction cooktop here in the U.S. It's fast, not at all fiddly, and easy to clean.
