If the coconut oil is refined (sounds like it is) then absolutely. Avocado oil is my favorite. No clue why I didn't mention it. In fact, I avoid all seed/vegetable oils.

Thanks again and one last question: of the non seed oils which is better to use for frying , guess as to heating smoking point!

Any of the oils you mentioned are fine. Is the avocado oil from Costco in the green bottle? I think it has the smoke point right on the bottle.

adding to Susan W's list, safflower, sunflower, avocado oils. They have very mild flavors and aromas as opposed to, say, olive oil.

It's a neutral tasting oil. Grapeseed is one. Canola is another. Neutral oils are highly refined and have high smoke points.

Thank You! What about oderless coconut oil? I also have a combo of avocado and coconut oil.
