I recently tried to make Dulche de leche using. Milk, sugar and baking soda, it’s too thin, but tastes very good. Tried reheating to thicken, But was getting too dark. No slow cooker. Any suggestions as to what to do with what I have?
That's a tasty problem. You could use it to soak or "frost" a cake such as an angel food, sponge, simple cake, ladyfinger cookies, etc. Drizzle on ice cream or incorporate into a milkshake.
