I accidentally left a pint of heavy cream in my car for a couple hours in the scorching heat.
when I discovered it, the waxed cardboard container was swollen. I decided to put it in the refrigerator anyway and see if I could possibly still use it. Well, the next morning I opened it up and it was so thick I could only spoon it out. But it tasted nice and sweet! It also did not curdle in my milk. Did it turn into creme fraiche? I'm amazed.
