I looked up a recipe to cook a whole chicken. It said 180°, I that it said F° but it was C°. I cooked the chicken at 180°F for 2.5 hours,

Noticed the mistake, then cooked it for another hour or more until cooked to safe temp. But Is the chicken still safe to eat?

If you got it to an internal temperature of 165 degrees, yes. If not, no.

That I did. I just wasn't sure since cooking it for so long at that low of temperature. Was concerned about bacteria growing. Thank you for answering my question.
