Clarification on Italian Polenta Cookie recipe

You reference lemon extract in the instructions but not in the ingredients. How much Lemon Extract is required?

The original Martha Stewart recipe uses 1 tsp vanilla, but/and the adapted one here uses only 1/4 tsp vanilla.
I would make these the first time with equal amount vanilla and lemon extracts (quarter tsp each).
Taste the baked cookies and add more lemon extract if you want in subsequent baking, maybe capping total amount of extract at a tsp.
