Is it possible to cook in a muffin tin?

Most cake recipes adapt well to being baked as muffins/cupcakes.
Be sure to line pan with butter and a dusting of flour (or cupcake paper liners).
Fill each indentation with batter to about 2/3 capacity.
Bake at same temperature as cake, but less time - check at about 15 to 18 minutes.
