All, both problems have been fixed. Totally our fault -- some new code we put out for some upcoming features (tease, tease) created a conflict. Sorry about that. :-/
Me too - I've received comments on recent recipes but no email notification about them. It's not an urgent problem but I thought I'd let you know. For example hardlikeamour just left a nice comment on my ginger-ella recipe but I have no notification in my email inbox as I usually do . . . and I see something is up at joninnyc's recent beer bread recipe but that might be intentional?
I think it started Weds at some point. I uploaded a recipe Weds evening and have not gotten e-mail notification about it being commented on (even though Lapadia happened to comment on it shortly after I posted it.) I'm still getting these e-mail notifications: Someone has commented on a thread you contributed to

Morning update -- working on the misplaced comments problem now. Will look into the missing emails next. For those with the missing emails, may I ask for some additional details? What emails are showing up? And what emails are missing? And do you know roughly when the problem started?
it seems to be specific to recipe comments. also i'm not getting any e-mail notices when someone comments on my recipe, but am getting the ones regarding threads and food pickles.
Pat, in looking at your recipe, I see lots of comments from you -- many of which seem to be meant as replies. So I think your comments ARE getting through and just landing in the wrong place. As I said, we'll fix this in the morning.
I've had the exact same experience when trying to reply to the nice comments I've been receiving on my shrimp burger recipe. Like inpatskitchen described, comments intended as replies to others are appearing at the top of the comment list instead of indented. Thanks for looking into this glitch!
I'm trying to reply to the wonderful comments that I'm getting for my recipe A Tribute to Woody When I hit the "submit" button it tells me to wait a few moments but never goes through. Does this help? I have tried a number of times.
Pat, could you be a little more specific? Are you replying to a comment on a recipe or a blog post? Did you try more than once? (We just released some additional code and it might have caused a hiccup in the saving of your comment.)
