Inspired by a cocktail I enjoyed at The Dreamaway Lodge in Becket, MA —souschef

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 5 ounces Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka
  • 8 ounces Izze Sparkling Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Mint
  • Ice
Directions
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the vodka, sparkling juice and lime juice. Stir gently. Let chill thoroughly. Add crushed ice to a martini glass. Pour mixture over the ice. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.

Sounds good! Do you infuse your own vodka or can you buy that somewhere?

My mom and her friends used to drink a "pink drink" for their ladies luncheon that was similar yet much less refined. I think it was basically pink lemonade whirled up in a blender with a load of vodka. Sounds like a lot of fun for a Wednesday afternoon to me!
