Author Notes: I use to make my sons "orange" mashed potatoes as baby food, they liked it so much i had to try it myself, and it tasted pretty good, lol. I don't usually measure my ingredients i season to taste. The liquid varies on how thick or smooth you like your potatoes.Nadine Jones

Serves: 4

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 5 large carrots
  • 1 chicken buillon
  • 1 splash of milk
  • water
  • salt & pepper
  • butter (amount varies on how buttery you like your potatoes)
  1. chop clean potatoes and carrots, boil in water and chicken bullion (for baby's i remove the potato skins before boiling, for myself i prefer the skin on my potatoes).
  2. strain potatoes and carrots, add butter and milk, and mash to the desired constancy (for my sons i blended them until smooth, for my self i prefer a rough mashing).
  3. salt and pepper to taste
