Author Notes

This is more of a method than a recipe. Years ago, I had a roommate who did catering. I was fascinated when I first saw this and just thought I would share. I have no idea where she got the idea, but it works. —Latetotheparty

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • whole salmon
  • choice of seasonings
Directions
  1. Wrap salmon in layers of plastic wrap, then double layer of foil so that it is water tight. I use salt, pepper and lemon slices before I wrap the fish to season it.
  2. Run the sealed salmon through the dishwasher's cycle. It comes out perfectly cooked, moist and ready to serve or incorporate in a another dish, such as a mousse.
