What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 3 oz. dry red wine
  • 1 oz. Mirto
  • 1/2 oz. Domaine de Canton
  • juice of 1/2 lime
  • 4 fresh blackberries and one lemon verbena leaf, optional
  • 2 snowed ice cubes
Directions
  1. In a shaker combine all the ingredients. If you have included the blackberries, muddle well . Shake for 1 minute.
  2. Pour and strain into a chilled glass. Optionally garnish with an herbal leaf, if available (such as lemon verbena, pineapple sage or wintergreen as suggestions). For a lighter, fruitier drink you could substitute 1 oz of the red wine with a fine pomegranate or cranberry juice.
