Author Notes: This one was an experiment and it came out awesome, I fennel all the time and I am always trying new recipes with it. It is such a versatile vegetable to use, raw or cooked. —SeafoodBatlle
- 1 Large Fennel bulb and It's fronds
- 2 pinches Course Salt
- 1 dash Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 2 pinches Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Thinly slice the fennel bulb and fronds, put them in a pan on medium heat. Add the olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper, brown sugar and simmer until the fennel gets real soft and translucent, stirring it occasionally usually takes about 10-15 minutes.
