Green tea rice

Rice cooked in green tea instead of water


Serves: 2


  • 2 cups water
  • 1 bunch green tea
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 pinch salt
In This Recipe


  1. boil the water
  2. add the tea (if not in bags, use a tea holder)
  3. once the tea is ready, add the rice
  4. season with salt
  5. simmer, stir every once in a while
  6. once the water is gone the rice is ready
