I was tired of the same old dry meatloaf with tomato sauce on top so i took a conventional meatloaf and added my own version to help the meatloaf tastefully moist. —GinaKing

Ingredients
- meat mixture
-
2 pounds
Ground Chuck

1
Egg
-
1/2
small onion diced
-
1/2 cup
bread crumbs

8 ounces
can of cream of mushroom soup use half and set aside other half for topping

1/4 cup
ketchup
-
3 teaspoons
garlic powder
-
couple pinches
salt and pepper
- topping
-
1/4 cup
ketchup
-
remainder
cream of mushroom soup
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients for meat mixture and shape in a meatloaf pan.
When oven is preheated place meatloaf on middle rack and bake for one hour.
Combine topping ingredients.
Remove from oven and drain excess grease.
Cover meatloaf with topping and bake approximately 30 more minutes or until topping has slightly crusted.
